Standard material suitability

Nitrile - The most standard material, and for good reason. It is ideal to use with hydraulic oils, vegetable oils, animal fats, acetylene, alcohols, water, air, fuels and many other fluids.
-35°C - +110°C

Viton - Ideal for high-temperature applications and Viton also has every high resistance to various acids and bases. However, Viton is not ideal for hot water or steam and tends to lose its ability to work effectively in low-temperature environments.
-20°C - +205°C

EPDM - Ideal for outdoor use as this has a very good resistance to UV radiation and ageing. One of the more popular materials in certain industries for this reason.
-55°C - +125°C

Silicone - Silicone has a very good resistance to both low, and high temperatures. This makes it an ideal choice for various applications. They are also more flexible than their rubber counterparts.
-55°C - +225°C
